His achievements and endorsements...

    Since 1978 Joe Cochrane has been doing taxidermy. He started by taking classes at Joliet Junior College in taxidermy. Years later he has been offered to teach there himself. He has won many awards in state, national, and world competitions, many of which are blue ribbons. Joe has won several “Pheasant Forever” awards with his work which consist of a blue ribbon and having the pheasant in the most natural setting. Whenever Joe does compete, he uses customer mounts to show his consistency and the quality of his work. The ribbons that Joe receives in these competitions when using a customer’s work are given to the customer as well. When Joe attends these competitions, he also attends seminars to keep himself updated in all the latest taxidermy techniques and products out on the market.

    A lot of people may recognize him from appearing on CLTV with Chauncey’s Great Outdoors. He also has been heard on the radio on ESPN’s AM 1000 with Chauncey’s Great Outdoors as well. You can sometimes catch Joe himself giving seminars, demonstrations, and talks on taxidermy with several schools along with Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas. Terry from Archery Customs in Forest Park speaks very highly of Joe and only recommends Nature’s Image Taxidermy Inc. to customers of the area. Scott from Strictly Fishing also speaks very highly of Joe’s work as well. His mounts can be seen in various Dick’s Sporting Goods (formerly known as Galyans).

    Joe is a full time and full service taxidermist who takes pride in his work. Each mount is put together with detailed artistry and creativity. The customer always comes first and foremost in Joe’s mind.
